1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is Di Cecca S.r.l., with registered office at Via Atratina 80, 04024 Gaeta (LT), Italy, VAT no. 02193350598.
Email for privacy-related requests: info@diceccasrl.it
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored and then sent back to those same websites on subsequent visits. In addition to cookies, there are other similar tracking technologies (for example, identifiers derived from network requests); this document treats them as equivalent to cookies where they perform analogous functions.
According to their purpose, cookies are classified as:
- technical cookies, necessary for the website to function, for which consent is not required;
- analytics/statistical and third-party cookies, which require the user's prior consent before being installed.
3. Cookies and tools used by this website
3.1 Technical and necessary cookies
These are used solely to allow the website to function correctly and to store the consent preferences expressed through the banner. They do not require the user's consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Ownership |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preference cookie (e.g. banner cookie) | Stores the user's cookie choices | Up to 6 months | First party (Di Cecca S.r.l.) |
3.2 Third-party analytics/statistical cookies — Google Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., to collect aggregated information about the use of the website (pages visited, duration of the visit, source). These cookies are installed only with the user's prior consent, given through the banner.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Ownership |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes users | 2 years | Third party (Google) |
_ga_<ID> | Maintains session state | 2 years | Third party (Google) |
_gid | Distinguishes users | 24 hours | Third party (Google) |
Transfers outside the EU: Google may also process the data outside the European Union. Such transfers take place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and the further safeguards provided for under Chapter V GDPR. Information and opt-out tools: Google Privacy Policy · Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
3.3 Cookieless analytics tool — Vercel Web Analytics
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., to measure website traffic in aggregated and anonymous form. This tool does not install cookies and does not use persistent identifiers that would allow the user to be tracked across different websites: identification is carried out by means of a value derived from the network request, and the data are processed in aggregated form that cannot be attributed to an identified user.
As this is a cookieless tool based on anonymised data, the collection is carried out for first-party statistical purposes. Information: Vercel Web Analytics — Privacy and Compliance.
4. Legal basis
- Technical cookies: the Controller's legitimate interest in delivering a functioning website (consent is not required).
- Google Analytics analytics cookies: the user's consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the banner.
- Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, anonymised data): the Controller's legitimate interest in measuring website performance in aggregated form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. How to manage and withdraw consent
On first access to the website, a banner is displayed allowing the user to accept or reject non-necessary cookies. Google Analytics analytics cookies are not installed until the user gives consent.
The user may change or withdraw their choices at any time:
- through the "Manage cookies" button below, which reopens the preferences banner;
- by configuring their browser to block or delete cookies. Instructions for the most common browsers: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge
Disabling technical cookies may impair the correct functioning of the website. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.
6. Rights of the data subject
The user may exercise at any time, by writing to info@diceccasrl.it, the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent) and may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
For any further information on the processing of personal data, please refer to the website's Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
The Controller reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy. Updated versions will be published on this page, stating the date of the latest update.
